How can i customize asset settings in asset manager
← Back to Asset Management FAQ
Each asset in the Asset Manager has a detailed Settings panel where you can customize how it is scanned, verified, and documented.
To access it:
-
Go to the Asset Manager page.
-
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on an asset, then choose Settings.
Inside the Settings panel, you’ll find the following tabs:
-
Continuous Security: Enable or disable continuous crawling and scan categories for the asset.
-
Crawl Configuration: Include or exclude URLs, define headers, upload API specs, and configure crawler enrichment.
-
security.txt Reporting: Configure responsible disclosure settings and publish security.txt information for the asset.
-
Description: Add or edit a description for the asset to keep notes or context.
-
Verification: View the verification status and verify ownership using security.txt, an HTML file, DNS record, or DNS Connect.
These settings help you control how each asset is scanned, verified, and represented in your security workflow.
