Each asset in the Asset Manager has a detailed Settings panel where you can customize how it is scanned, verified, and documented.

  • To access it:

  • Go to theAsset Manager page.

  • Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on an asset, then choose Settings.

Inside the Settings panel, you’ll find the following tabs:

  • Continuous Security: Enable or disable specific scan types such as DNS Controls, SSL Controls, Misconfiguration, Network & Web Vulnerabilities, and more. This allows you to tailor the security checks for each asset as needed.

  • Update Description: Add or edit a description for the asset to keep notes or context.

  • Crawler: Include or exclude specific URLs, define headers or upload API specs for smarter crawling.

  • Verification Settings: Verify ownership of the asset using security.txt, DNS records, or HTML files.

  • Services: View and manage detected services and open ports related to the asset.

  • security.txt Reporting: Customize and publish your security.txt file for responsible disclosure.

These settings help you control how each asset is scanned, verified, and represented in your security workflow.
