To initiate a scan, you must provide Domain, IP address, URL or Request as input.

To start a scan successfully, you must use the right asset type given in the scan detail.

A domain is a name for a website or an organization's online presence on the internet.

Some examples are;

  • gov.uk

  • twitter.net

  • wikipedia.org

An IP address stands for Internet Protocol Address which is a unique numerical identifier assigned to each computer connected to a network such as the internet. Some examples are;

  • 8.8.8.8

  • 1.1.1.1

A URL serves as an address for specific web pages within a website and is used by HTTP protocol that consists of several elements including domain name and file path. In most cases they follow this basic pattern: http(s)://[domainname]/[filepath]. ]
