Manual Scan and Continuous Scan are used for different workflows.
Manual Scan is started by the user. Use it when you want to test a specific target, validate a fix, or run a scan on demand.
Continuous Scan runs automatically for assets with Advanced Security enabled. It follows the enabled scan categories and the schedule configured for the asset.
Use Manual Scan for one-time checks. Use Continuous Scan for ongoing monitoring of important assets.
